The images below are of the actual posters. All posters are 13" high and the width on *most* is 39". Refer to sizes link from homepage for actual sizes on those that may slightly vary. The posters have the names of the peaks and their locations delineated on the borders of the poster (see above slideshow for just the images).

  • Banff Area: Sunshine Ski Area
Sunshine Village is a major ski resort in Banff National Park, Alberta, spanning continental divide and the Alberta-British Columbia border. It is twenty minutes away from the town of Banff, and one hour and thirty minutes away from the city of Calgary, Alberta. The base of the Sunshine Village ski runs and lifts are accessed via its eight person high speed gondola, which takes guests from the car park (or bus terminal) to Goat's Eye mountain in seven minutes and to the upper Village area in thirteen minutes. From there, 107 trails spread out in a wide arc formed by the three mountain peaks surrounding the Village.
  • Banff Area: Banff Townsite
The town of Banff is famous for its spectacular setting, but it is more than just a pretty place. As Canada's first incorporated municipality in a national park, Banff is a very special community:
  • Banff Area: Canmore
Canmore is a town in Alberta, Canada, located in the Bow Valley with a permanent population of 11,442 (2005 municipal census). The non-permanent population is about 3,790 or 29% (combined population of 15,232). It is located just east of the world-famous Banff National Park, about 110 kilometres (70 mi) west of Calgary and immediately north of Kananaskis Country. The town lies in the Bow Valley, named so for the Bow River that passes through it. Its mountain setting is noted for The Three Sisters. Canmore's climate is relatively mild compared to most regions of Canada, with the coldest day in January averaging only -8 °C (18 °F), with very low humidity that makes it feel considerably warmer than the thermometer indicates. Summers are short and cool, and winters are long but usually sunny and dry. The area boasts, on average, 330 days of sunshine annually, with the short wet season occurring through mid-May to early June. The rest of the summer is considered semi-arid. Mountains located adjacent to and visible from the townsite are Grotto Mountain (2,706 m / 8,878 ft), Mount Lady Macdonald (2,606 m / 8,550 ft), Mount Lawrence Grassi (2,685 m / 8,809 ft) and, most famously, the Three Sisters (2,936 m, 2,769 m, 2,694 m or 9,633 ft, 9,084 ft, 8,839 ft).
  • Banff Area: Cascade Mountain
Cascade Mountain 2998m (9836ft.) Located in the Bow River Valley west of Cascade River; north of Banff townsite. Banff Park, Alberta. People have been admiring the cascade on Cascade Mountain for a long time. The native name for the peak was, "Minihapa" which translates to "Mountain Where the Water Falls." For an alternative panoramic view from the summit of Cascade Mountain visit www.canadasmountains.com.
  • Banff Area: Mount Assiniboine Lodge
Assiniboine Lodge Built by the Canadian Pacific Railway in 1928, Mount Assiniboine Lodge is rustic and comfortable with space for thirty guests per night. The lodge is situated at an elevation of 7,200 feet (2,180 meters). Assiniboine Lodge is now owned by B.C. Parks. There are at least seven mountains in the Canadian Rockies that have been known as "Pyramid." Only two officially carry the name, a third having had the name removed in order to avoid confusion with the other "Pyramids..
  • Banff Area: Mount Assiniboine
Mount Assiniboine 3618m (11871ft.) Located on the continental divide at the head of Marvel Lake Valley; head of Assiniboine Creek. on the border of Banff & Assiniboine parks, Alberta/BC border. Major headwaters Bow & Kootenay rivers. Although it can only be seen from one relatively lightly travelled roadside location in Alberta, Mount Assiniboine has become one of the most recognized mountains of the Rockies. This is undoubtedly because of its distinctive pyramidal shape as well as the lovely glacier and lake which lie below it when viewed from its most photographed angle. Christened "The Matterhorn of North America" by early travellers, its profile is classic. The peak is visible from Buller Pond on the Smith-Dorrien Trail. From this viewpoint, it is the mountains height and massiveness which are most impressive and the "Matterhorn like" shape does not present itself. The east-facing cliffs of Mount Assiniboine rise over 1700 metres above the valley below.
  • Banff Area: Rocky Mountain Panorama
Rocky Mountain Panorama: Taken from Beaupre Hill near Calgary west of Cochrane near Ghost Lake. Ranchland in foreground part of the Bow Valley and Highway 1a. Scott Lake Hill is off to the left where the Trans Canada Highway proceeds West to Banff, and Lake Louise. Shows front range mountains from Kananaskis to Banff National Park.
  • Banff Area: Sulphur Mountain
Sulphur Mountain is at the end of a ridge that is over 3.5 kilometers long and starts at the summit of Sanson Peak and passes the Banff Gondola. Banff Gondola is located just 5 minutes from the Town of Banff, on the shoulder of Sulphur Mountain, in the heart of the Canadian Rockies. The 360o view from the upper gondola terminal, view-decks and Summit Ridge interpretive boardwalk, is the very best vantage point in the west. Safely seated in 4 passenger gondola cabins, visitors are transported in 8 minutes to the summit at an elevation of 2,281m (7,486 ft) above sea level. From Sanson Peak you have some route finding difficulties, chief of which is getting through or by the Sulphur Mountain Gondola station.
  • Banff Area: Wonder Pass
Wonder Pass 2393 m Location: The pass takes its name from Wonder Peak. The view from the summit of this mountain inspires "wonder". Location Province Park Map Latitude Longitude UTM Grid Ref Alberta/BC Banff/Mount Assiniboine 82J/13 50; 53; 35 115; 35; 45 990387
